Jiji stands as Africa's largest online classified marketplace, bridging buyers and sellers across Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, and Nigeria. Co-founded by Anton Voliansky, the platform was scaled to transform the digital trade infrastructure across emerging markets, serving as the primary hub for cars, electronics, and real estate.
Rapid user onboarding led to severe server crashes and lag spikes during high-traffic hours. The system lacked an automated verification layer, allowing fake listings and fraudulent profile creation to bypass standard filters, which rapidly compromised user safety and platform trust.
The target was to establish a high-concurrency database framework capable of handling millions of simultaneous user interactions. The setup required real-time listing moderation and optimized media compression to ensure high-speed loading over low-bandwidth mobile networks.
Incroyable Web Fixers executed a complete overhaul of the core backend architecture. An automated screening engine was integrated to scan incoming ads and flag suspicious listings instantly. To fix the network bottleneck, data-compression pipelines were deployed that shrunk high-resolution listing photos automatically without losing clarity, making the app responsive on 3G connections.
The entire re-engineering, structural testing, and UI synchronization were finalized within a 9-month sprint. After stabilizing the infrastructure, Incroyable Web Fixers delivered a custom administrative suite and smoothly transitioned the system to the internal technical team.

The new structural deployment successfully stabilized the platform against erratic traffic spikes. The optimized platform handled millions of monthly active users, thousands of parallel internal chats, and endless listing refreshes without a single minute of server downtime.
